Dear Parents and Friends,
February has been an extraordinary month for our school community. From major celebrations to meaningful milestones, we are proud to share the highlights with you.
š Celebrating the Year of the Horse
This month, we hosted our largest Chinese New Year celebration to date ā welcoming over 500 attendeesĀ to mark the Year of the Horse.
The event was a tremendous success, filled with festive performances, cultural activities, traditional games, and joyful family participation. The atmosphere was vibrant and energetic, reflecting the spirit of the Horse: strength, enthusiasm, and forward momentum.
Seeing so many families, students, and community members celebrating together was a powerful reminder of how far our school has grown ā and how strong our community has become.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event.
š 10-Year Anniversary ā A Special Thank You
Last academic year marks the 10th Anniversary of Giggling Panda Chinese School.
To celebrate this important milestone, every child received a special anniversary goody bag as a token of our appreciation. It has been a privilege to support our students over the past decade, and we are grateful to the families who have been part of our journey.
Your trust and commitment continue to inspire us.
š® Half-Term Camp ā Chinese New Year Theme

During half term, we ran our themed Chinese New Year Camp, offering children an immersive cultural experience through:
Traditional crafts
Festival-themed activities
Language enrichment sessions
Interactive games
The camp was full of laughter, creativity, and hands-on learning. It was wonderful to see children deepen their understanding of Chinese traditions in such an engaging environment.
ā Excellent Homework
Selected homework pieces were displayed to celebrate:
Neat handwriting and character accuracy
Creative writing and sentence construction
Cultural understanding
Consistent effort and progress
The display not only recognised individual achievement but also motivated all students to take pride in their learning. We are incredibly proud of the dedication and improvement shown by our pupils.

Delivering high-quality Chinese language education
Creating meaningful cultural experiences
Strengthening our growing school community
